I believe that poetry is an art that you can take simple words and sentences and weave and string them together to make something truely beautiful, or express your emotions, or someone elses emotions, ect. I also believe that there is no such thing as a wrong sentence. I think that in poetry, you can defy lots of rules and ways of writing properly. There is no such thing as a wrong sentence. People can steal your work, but they will never know the meaning behind it.
I could say, for instance, The holy water on my shelf; Clings to my last breath; for god has witnessed this; you fell at my death. If someone stole that, that person would never know that it was about my grandma and how she basically rased me and when she died, I felt like I lost everything. I did some real bad things that I'm not proud of. I believe in second chances and forgiveness. Everyone deserves them both...
