Outside of improving my understanding of African culture and self expression, I enjoy spending time outdoors simply enjoying Nature. I love listening to world music and live entertainment, as well as personally enjoying singing and dancing. I enjoy all types of sports and martial arts when time permits. I enjoy watching a good movie, although I don't watch too much TV. I love reading a good book, sharing good company and good conversation. I have been a vegetarian for the last 5 years, and enjoy cooking for myself and my friends.

My name is Terrell Freeman. I am a hardworking Black man born and raised in the town of Parole located within Annapolis , MD. Through out my development I have been supported by strong parents, grand parents, and elders of the community. After completing 12 years of schooling at The Key School in Annapolis , I spent 7 years in Georgia beginning at Morehouse College and continuing my journey in the " School of Life ." Although I did not graduate from the aforementioned college, my intention was to pursue law school after majoring in English and Computer Science. I moved into the field of Information Technology while trying to pay my way through school, and have continued to progress in the industry over the last 9 years.
I am a IT technician by day, and a warrior for liberation by night... I love our heritage and aim to spend the rest of my days participating in the continuation of our ancestors legacy. I work hard to study ancient knowledge with intentions of applying it ever more, each day.
It has been said that, "If you don't know your past, then you don't know your future..." To this effect, I try to study the roots of the my culture, in order to improve my understanding of the fruit of the culture. I have spent the last 10 years researching the symbolism within world art and literature, especially as this relates to African culture. I enjoy using poetry, drawing and painting, photography, and public speaking to apply and share the variety of lessons I have learned thus far. This experience has led to great experiences with various leaders of the community, peer mediation, and youth mentor-ship. I love our heritage and its legacy, and aim to spend the rest of my days immersing myself the related information, improving my experience of our culture, as well as sharing my results with community.
The technology within the information of art and literature, has also led me to study information technology. I have been working in the IT industry for nearly the 10 years, with hopes of understanding the relation between the technology of information and information technology. There is a plethora of symbolism expressed in the design, function, and language used within the hardware and software of the industry. I will continue to advance myself in this field, with intentions of sharing the knowledge with the community.
