Subterfuge

As I gaze into the dark and stormy night
I summon feelings kept in secret
Sounds of a melody shatter glass
The secret is her charming radiance
Her soul is luminary as bright as a star
Her beauty is untold
Her truth is as drizzle in the wind
That is carried to its destination
The wind only conveys truth
She will receive it upon the ear
Less it shall be devoured to oblivion
by the deceptive snow that appears with great splendor
but kills the beauty of a flower with its frost
In the panorama
A sky of dreams hovers above
as the clouds rush switfly
The reflection of the moon
on the wavering ocean shimmers in her eyes
Lies are spoken by a one named deceit
But my soul and heart are kept decent
Lying to the sincere soul is a crime
Like the shining of the sun on a mirror
that hits you in the eyes
The lie will consume the face of the deluder
