Change
It didn't matter if it was a Donkey, Elephant or a Goat,
the election's now over and that's all she wrote.
Now it's time to put any differences aside,
and pray the next four years are a wonderful ride.
So many changes are needed in this world and our life,
from poverty to personal freedoms or everday strife.
This Historical event that we now have at hand,
could be the beginning of a new worldly plan.
I've never been into politics much, I must admit,
but it is time for change, and a country that's fit.
The new president and us have a long road ahead
let's bond this world together before we all end up dead!
Here's a Christmas Poem
Harmony
The smell of pine fragrance is in the air
as Christmas trees are harvested everywhere.
Soon trees will be adorned with bulbs and lights,
adding color to homes for holiday delights.
Children will be making lists for Santa to fill,
parents will be shopping in the cold winter chill.
Some of our loved ones may not be here
to enjoy this season of holiday cheer.
Every Christmas many say "Peace on Earth"
to attain this task we need to value our worth.
Each life is precious from a Beggar to a King
when we learn to love each other, all the Angels will sing.
